Entrance

Here is the view as you enter the Gladwyn. Not that I am inclined to boast about my entrance hall, but my competitors seem more than content to show you their's ....so here is mine!!! The entrance leads off to the stairs and the public lounge which is on the left hand side. Of course, the difference with this website is that I show you the rooms as well as the front entrance....so you can enjoy a virtual tour of the building from the comfort of your own armchair. The website gives you a view of each room amd a brief description which I hope you find helpful.

Lounge

The lounge is found on the entrance floor and is open to residents (and their family and friends). The lounge overlooks the Devonshire Park at the front of the building. It is tastefully decorated with pictures collected from our travels around the world. The lounge also houses our own licensed bar which serves a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages at very reasonable prices. Central to the lounge is our latest acquisition - a 24 candle chandelier ..... which is now on a dimmer switch following complaints from the neighbouring lighthouse at Beachy Head.

Breakfast

The breakfast room is found downstairs and enjoys wonderful views over the back garden including the patio which is now finsihed. The dining room comfortably seats 28 people ...which is more than the number of bed spaces in the place - now how many establishments can make that boast??? Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 9.30am although we are always grateful of some hint of when you might be coming down to eat!!! We serve a FULL English breakfast and hope that this will set you up well for the rest of the day.
